Goyle is the keeper of the book of monsters, which Kade had inadvertently opened, releasing the curses from within. Goyle is a very bitter character, as the book just happens to be her head and she is unable to do anything but sit in her prison and wait for Shadow Wraith to summon the book (which is the only way for her to be able to see the outside world). Goyle is selfish and grouchy, and thinks that everyone around her is an idiot and fool. Her salty behavior is a result of her unfortunate past, as she feels betrayed for being cursed with a grotesque appearance and being left in the hands of her captor, Cape.
